Still Undecided

U.S. stocks ended lower Monday, with weakness in technology shares pacing the decline, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average once again backed off record highs amid a disappointing sales outlook from Wall-Mart Stores Inc despite a sharp price fall in oil.

The SPX finished down 4.53 at 1331.32. The RUT down 6.78 718.81.

This downward move helped both our positions especially our RUT play.

For the next week there is a lot of economic news being released the most important of which is the September figures for US Unemployment. The Markets are expecting that report to show that nonfarm payrolls expanded by around 126,000 jobs last month.

If the report shows fewer jobs created, it would set alarm bells ringing about slowing economic growth and possibly lead to a decline in the markets.

Hopefully that means that this week will be fairly quiet until the report is released on Friday which is good for us. Remember, as I have said before, Time is our friend. The less time there is for, the less chance the markets can make the sort of move which will harm us.

Until next time.
