Back In the Game....Sort Of
The big question today is.... did you get filled?
I suppose much depends on your contract size. I got filled on 18 of my 30 contracts at $1.30. Some of you with larger contract trades also only got filled on about 60%-70% of your allocation.
For all those who either had smaller contract sizes or were clever enough to reduce the opening price you should be filled.
Anyway, the markets got off to a flier in the morning on merger news. However this early strength declined by the afternoon depsite all the deals on the table and the SPX gave up 4.61 points to finish on 1,422.48.
Energy stocks were hurt badly as oil prices dropped over $1.22 to finish at just above $62.21 a barrel.
Tomorrow we have economic data, including the PPI report and housing starts data. How this data compares with estimates will be a major factor in how stocks perform tomorrow. Lets see what happens.
Until next time.
