Not Much Going On
Hope you all had an excellent Christmas and didn't eat too much chocolate and drink too much wine.
Stocks did not do much all day but did not do too much to the upside. The SPX finished up 6.14 points to end on 1,416.90 and we are ok in the green.
There was no news out today but that will cahnge tomorrow but Wednesday will be a different story. Tomorrow’s releases will include weekly data on same-store sales, but the focus will be on the new home sales release. Traders are concerned about a hard landing for the economy and a bottom in the housing market would help alleviate these concerns.
If the new homes sales numbers do not meet expectations expect some downwards movement.
