Let the Earnings Season Begin
Can't really believe Aloca is kicking off earnings season is kicking off again tomorrow.
Broadly speaking was a good day for the markets today. The Bulls finally took control and the SPX finished up 3.13 points to 1,412.84. We are in green and looking ok. Some more up movement this week would be great.
Lots of merger news and some positive comments from the Fed Vice Chairman really should have pushed the market higher. Mr. Kohn, the Fed vice Chairman, stated that the US economy should experience a soft landing and that inflation in 2007 should cool.
However it appeared traders were a little hesitant before earnings season starts. Lets hope Aloca can get us off to a good start.
