Quiet Before the Storm?

It was a quiet day for stocks as traders awaited a flurry of economic and earnings news this week. The Dow ended the session with a gain of 3.76 points to 12,490.78. The SPX fell (again) 1.55 points to 1,420.62. We are still in green but would welcome a little bit of up movement.

The Fed start their two day meeting today to discuss interest rates and the economy. Though no one expects a rate move, there are concerns about the Fed statement. However, I'm reading and hearing on tv that most analysts believe that the statement will be exactly as it was last month, which leaned toward the risk of inflation.

Lets hope so!

Until next time.
