Ban the Bomb!

Today's session was all about Iran. The SPX fell 1.25 points to 1,456.38. We are in the green.

Despite the fact that there was loads of great news in the chip sector and a nice merger announcement between Whole Foods and Wild Oats, Iran's refusal to meet today's deadline to stop enriching uranium weighed on the markets. Though the news from the U.N. was a reason to take profits, the losses were quite small in the end with traders continuing to buy the dips. These markets still want to go up.

Crude prices did rise on the news by 88-cents to close at $60.95 a barrel.

And that's about it.

Until next time.
