What Now?

On Tuesday the SPX tacked on 2.38 points to finish on 1,518.11. We are in the green and looking ok.

Initially, stocks moved higher on the morning following another bout of merger news. However, the major market indices took a turn for the worse in midday trading, but regained their composure heading into the close.

Overnight the Chines Govt have annouced a tax on shares to try and dampen the runaway Chinese Stock Market. The US Futures market have not taken nicely to this and are already pointing to a serioulsy down day.

Coupled with all the economic data coming out in the next two days it will certainly be an interesting few days!!

Until next time.
