Back in the Game!!
Its been an awfully long time since our last play but we are back in the game. We got filled on our play Friday. Again we only have the calls on at the momement and therefore have no downside risk.
Anyway not much happened Monday. The Dow fell 88.66 points to close the session at 12,969.54. The SPX lost 6.41 points closing at 1,407.49. We are in the green and looking ok.
Two major stories was that oil rose $3.95 a barrel to close at $119.97 after hitting an intraday high at $120.36. Continued worries about supply in Nigeria and the further fall in the value of the dollar are keeping energy prices high.
The other story was that Microsoft withdrew its offer to purchase Yahoo. Yahoo could be in trouble if it doesn't find a purchaser soon. After all what does Yahoo do?
