Almost there!
Stocks saw a see saw day Tuesday with energy and financials providing strength. The Dow lost 25.41 points to close at 8,448.56. The SPX was up slightly 1.53 points to finish the session at 871.79. We are in the green and looking good.
Not much really happened so not a lot to say!! Only point of note is the major market indices fell through their 50-day moving averages this week, but remain above support hit during the Christmas week. Wednesday’s session is likely to be impacted not only by further earnings, but also the release of the retail sales results for December.
