Early Pay Day!!

Sorry but I have been away for the Easter break hence no posts. As you know we shut our play down fairly early last week for a 0.85c profit. If you had placed a 10 contract trade you would have made $850. Not bad for 9 day play.

Anyway where are stocks now? They have again seen a bit of a rally over the last few days from the lows we saw last week. On Monday as traders await a rush of earnings reports the Dow fell 25.57 points to 8,057.81. The SPX added 2.17 points finishing the session at 858.73.

Major news Monday was GM being told to prepare for bankruptcy and Wells Fargo (WFM) announcing better results.

And that was it. Besides a slew of earnings reports today Tuesday, traders will also get data on March retail sales. Estimates are for retail sales to rise 0.3 percent overall, but for a flat reading when autos are excluded. In February, retail sales fell 0.1 percent after rising 1.8 percent in January.

Until next time.
